Music Foto Kolektiv has been founded by two concert photographers and friends: Artur Rawicz and Marcin Bąkiewicz in January 2009.

As MFK we cooperate with the biggest polish internet and music medias like: Onet.pl, WP (Wirtualna Polska), CGM.pl and magazines like: Teraz Rock (the oldest and most respectable polish music magazine), Metal Hammer or Sciszto.pl. Our photos may be found at many smaller websites, as well as websites of polish music clubs and concert promoters.

MFK organises the only polish competition, dedicated to concert photographers, which is called Koncertowa Fotografia Roku (The Best Concert Photography of the Year). As far we have performed two competitions, both ended with a grand finale - concert, prizes, guests and of course exhibition.

In May 2010 we were participating in discussion about connections between music and photography at the Month of Photography in Kraków. Discussion was lead by Chris Salewicz, other participants were: Jason Evans, Vinca Petersen, Wojciech Słota, Rafał Masłow and Jacek Poremba.

Last but not least - our photos from concerts in Warszawa are shown in Warsaw Underground at Infoscreens owned by Stroer company.
